White Claw

I was approached by ETC to work on the pitch for the White Claw’s promo campaign.This led on us winning the pitch and working on 3 promo films that define the drink.

The Original, Iconic Flavour, and Cold Wave Filtered.

Working closely with the Art Direct I was tasked with coming up and executing fluid camera animations that will allow a seamless transition between the shots. Some initial scene and camera blocking started in Cinema4D and after transitioned into SideFX Houdini where the elements in all shots were simulated and rendered with Arnold.


A technical challenge was to go from micro scale to real life scale and to have a realistic looking transitions. Another challenge was to have the liquid as realistic as possible and also have it inside the branding boundaries(white water on white background).


I was involved in the project from the start till the compositing and the delivery stage, which took around 5 months. During this time several VFX artist came on board and in some cases my task was also to oversee their work or bring them up to speed.
